DILKES-HOFFMAN STUDIO CERAMICS
Dilkes-Hoffman Studio Ceramics (originally Daleep Studios) first opened to the public in December 1991. It is a partnership between Rod Dilkes and Tova Hoffman. Tova previously studied studio ceramics at Harrow College in London and Rod is a self taught ceramic artist and sculptor with a special interest in all things difficult to produce. From humble beginnings the studio has grown into a 300sq metre building with several part time employees. We produce a wide range of tableware as well as distinctive one off pieces and sculpture. Cast glass sculpture also takes pride of place in our range as does our trade mark metallic lustre pottery. Our gallery also features work of other local craftspeople. You are welcome to come to our studio gallery, its open weekdays between 10am and 5pm. You can also see us at work and get direct-from-the-maker prices. The studio is set amongst the trees on the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge near Margaret River, one of the most beautiful natural areas in the world.
One of our goals is to create a tradition of finely designed and crafted uniquely Australian ceramics. Europe has had this tradition for centuries and it is deeply respected and supported by the buying public. We hope you can come and see us soon.
