My love affair with forests began at a very early age and later as a craftsman blossomed into a labour of love.

Utilising a large percentage of our products from fallen timber and forest waste, ensures that we can provide our customers with the beauty of nature whilst having a remarkably minor impact on the environment.

Nestled in the natural beauty of the Margaret River region in Western Australia, our Boranup Forest Workshop and award winning gallery established in 1989, exist in harmony with its surrounds.

I personally believe that with each of our pieces sold we impart a piece of the forest history that will last forever.

As a qualified designer/master craftsman, I even today marvel at the time and care that must be afforded to such delicate and rare woods. The Jarrah Burlwood in particular, must now surely be classed as endangered, a wood I find incomparable to any other in the world, both in beauty and character.

Our reputation for creative use of speciality Australian timbers and design, has grown rapidly in world circles and to do this, I attribute the great fortune of being able to live and work in one of the most beautiful corners of the world.
